Kids Costume Contest. Come in your best Costume

Two of last years winners.

Judging for the costume contest will start at 2pm.

Hayrides out to the Pumkin Patch for FREE pumpkins.

The Apple Core Lunch stand will be open serving hot foods.  If to cold to sit outside please feel free to sit at  a table inside our store.

The straw stack will be open for kids to play in or to build your own scare crow. The corn boats will be ready for the kids too.

We will be playing alot of games:  Try to get  all the Squash (pins) down when you play Pumkin Bowling.  Bobbing for apples is always a treat.  We will be offering Pumkins and paint for you to paint your very own pumkin. A  coloring contest will be going on and  Try a shot at our bean bag toss.  So much for the kids to do.

Every thing in our gift shop will be 55% off starting this friday the 28th.  The sale doesn’t include our consignment items. Christmas is only 60 days away so start that christmas shopping now.

We will be opening the Apple Core lunch stand on Thursday and Friday from 11am to 3:30pm.  On the menu is BBQ’s, Coney’s, Hot Dogs, Taco in a bag, and don’t forget Apple crisp and Ice Cream.  On Saturday and Sunday the Lunch stand will be open from 11am to 5pm.

The Hayrides will be running to from 10:30am to 3:30pm on Thursday and Friday. They will be going out through the orchard and out to the pumpkin patch. On Saturday and Sunday the rides will go from 11am to 5pm.  We do not charge for the hayrides we just ask for a food shelf dontation.  Thanks

Jessica’s Ponies will be here on Saturday from 10:30am – 3:30pm.

The clowns will be out here to make you a balloon animal.

We will be offering games to play like Pumpkin bowling, Carving pumpkins (bring your own knives or purchase one in our store) and Painting pumpkins.

In the cooler we have Honey Crisp apples they are a great eating apple for all ages and Haralson Apples these are good for pies.

Happy Face and Candy Kisses the clowns will be here.  They are fun clown who Love to make you laugh.  Candy Kisses will paint a nice picture on your cheek and Happy Face loves to make balloon animals.

Pumpkin carving kits.  Purchase a kit inside and a pumpkin and you are welcome to carve your pumpkin here. We will have a table outside along with a bucket to put all the Pumpkins insides in. 

We also have Mums on sale $7.00 each.  They are Minnesota hardy. Take one home and plant it into the ground and it will come up every year. There are many colors to choose from.

3/4 Teaspoon cinnamon

4 Tablespoons brown sugar, divided

2 Large apples, peeled, cored & sliced thinly

Melt butter in a large skillet.  Mix 3 tablespoons sugar with cinnamon & sprinkle over melted button.  Put apples in pan & simmer 3 to 4 minutes.  Cool for a couple of minutes.

4 Eggs

2/3 Cup milk

1/3 Cup flour

Dash of salt

Beat eggs, milk, remaining sugar, flour & salt until smooth.  Pour over apples.  Bake at 400 degrees until golden & sides are puffy, 12-15 minutes.  Serve immediately after lightly sprinkling with sifted powdered sugar.  My family likes a little pancake syrup with it.
